Double page Spread analyse 2...

The size of the font which the magazine uses is good as it is not to big, which would make the magazine look cheap but also not to small so that customers can read the writing without have to strain and look closely at the text. The fonts which have been used are good as they are not either serif or sans serif which would make it hard for anybody to read. The double page spread only uses 3 colours apart from the images, this is so that is looks safisticated and the writing stands out against the other colours.

Double page Spread analyse 1...

The main parts of this double page spread is the images, it covers just less than 3 quarters of the page which shows to the reader that the producer of the magazine believes the images are more important than the text. The images are all over the page and are different sizes i think this hints at the idea of the music genre. The images also show the bands playing live so that people may be enouraged people to watch the bands. The title stands out on the plain white background as it uses a large, bold font and the colour is not that bright but is still eye catching even using a relaxing colour. The text goes around the outside of the of the images to create a border, this makes the readers attention focus on the centre of the page. The whole point of this double page spread is to go behind the scenes with the band and find a bit more information about their lifes when not performing and their emotons before they go on stage to perform. This makes the text informal as all the text is mainly from interviews. Each f the images has a small caption in the corner of the picture to tell the reader what is going on in the picture.

Contents page analyse 3...

The title used in the contents page of this magazine is in a bold and simple font so that it is both eye catching and simple to read. The colour of the font is also effective as it links to the image because the image is ment to look like it has been taken in the olden days that's why it is in black and white same as the title. The page only uses 2 colours other than the image of the magazine front cover this is related to the image again as it tells the reader that the image is ment to show what life's like for certain people who live in not well off areas. The link to the front cover is to remind the reader of what to expect in the magazine if they don't want to read all the text present in the magazines contents page. The image used is a medium close shot, this is so that it will show the background and all the people who who are involved in the picture as well as showing the facial expressions of the main model. The facial expressions which the model shows are sadness and boredom to reflect on the area in which he lives in. The language used in the contents page has not been focused on as much by the producer same as the images, It is formal simply to inform the reader about what is in the magazine

The model was also on the front page of this certain magazine so this shows the link between the front cover and the contents page. The clothing which she is wearing is close to the colour of the background so that she blends in so then the reader then concentrates on the black writing which stands out instead of the model. The font used in the contents is fancy and uses serif this gives the effect that the magazine is elegant and this links to the model as well. The language is quite informal which represents the music magazines genre.
