Front Cover ...

I created my final front cover and included better fonts so that it is more eye catching. The front cover is very conventional and includeds everything which you would expect to see on a magazine front cover. As he was not a well known artists i put his name in the top left of the image as i have seen this used in other magazines.

Contents page...

I have created my final contents pages and the different catergories which i have used to inform the reader on what to expect inside are from NME magazines. I used the idea of spilting up the word contents from a vibe magazine. I think that this is effective as it is unconventional. I think the image is well as it reflects on the genre of the music magazine which is R&B.

Double page spread...

This was my final double page spread and i have included all the things which i have learnt and put them into the product. I used ideas from other magazines and pu them into my own so that my final magazine was authentic and realistic. I think i achieved my objectives of making a realistic magazine. The magazines which i got the ideas from were mainly Vibe and NME.

MockUp2...

This is another mock up which i created and in this one i played with the colour scheme alot more to make it look more safisticated and match through out. The colour scheme which i finally ended up with was blue, white and black and these colours worked as they stood out from each other which could help me decided to change my mind on my colour scheme from earlier research which was black and yellow. A small caption used in the bottom left leaves the reader on a cliff hanger when they look at the front cover and this may pursuade them to purchase the magazine as they want to find out the whole story which would feature inside.

MockUp1...

This was my first attempt at creating my own product with an already taken picture. I thought it was good making the mock ups as it gave me experience and made me more confident for when it comes to making my own final products. I could play with the fonts to see what font fitted the music genre and image best. I also looked at other magazine front covers to see other bits of detailed they used in there magazine and put these ideas into my mock ups e.g. splash. This was a very basic mock up and just give me a feel to making the products. I believe that the image worked well as the models and the title can be seen clearly to show that they are as important as each other.

Possible colour schemes

White & Blue.

Black & Red.

Yellow & Orange.

Black & Yellow.

Red & White.

Grey & Black.

Different shades of the same colour.

All of these colour schemes are at random so that the questionees can choice for them selves or give me their opinion on what they think would work best. Overall from the results the most popular colour was black and yellow. I think that this is because they are bright contrasting colours which catch the eye, so when i come to making my products i think that this is a good colour scheme to use.
